LightBase Components
The LightBase´s components offer an easy way to integrate the
functionalities of LightBase in your applications.
The Microsoft's COM technology was used in the LightBase components. With the
LightBase components it is possible:
- To develop a complete application customized in Windows development
environments (Visual Basic, FoxPro, Delphi);
- To use macros in any Microsoft Office tool;
- To create Web and Wap applications with ASP
- To create scripts that automate Lightbase tasks.
Some functionalities available:
- Attainment of information on the Lightbase environment (servers, UDBs, bases)
- Creation of a new base
- Edition of the structure and the properties of an existing base
- Destruction of a base
- Session Opening
- Base Opening
- Research
- Sorting of the result set
- Blocking of registers
- Navigation
- Register's operations (inclusion, addition, and removal)
- Edition of the current register's values (including the image field)
